The campus and its premises will be thoroughly sanitized before and after classes. Temperature checks will be conducted at entry and exit points at regular intervals. Facilities for sanitising hands will be available at classrooms and in the common areas. All members of the NUTM community will also be required to wear protective masks.
It is important for everyone to follow the guidelines on campus to keep themselves and others safe. We trust that all members of our community will follow necessary precautions. You may politely remind other members if you encounter a breach of these guidelines. If you still have concerns, write to us at nspteam@nutmng.org. Failure to follow the guidelines will result in disciplinary action.
Extra efforts will be made to disinfect and clean building spaces (offices, rooms, auditorium, etc). All work surfaces will be decontaminated twice daily. In most situations, this means once before work, and once after work has been concluded. All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected twice daily.
We are committed to the well-being and recovery of our team. A temporary quarantine room has been designated on campus for isolating suspected cases prior to evacuating them to an approved government facility for further attention and care. Any individual (faculty, staff, or student) experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should report this immediately to the COVID-19 Response Team (CRT), who will immediately provide the right support. For more information, read our guidelines here.
Yes. All NUTM students, faculty and staff will need to always wear a face mask while on campus to help prevent the spread of the virus--except when in your rooms, or if you need to eat or drink.
